By expanding the wings of HPI, now we are into the sales of Value Added Tea which is manufactured in our own Tea Factories. We intend to send samples to Japan, Australia, China, Liberia & Pakistan and waiting to start over our business locally as well as internationally.

We could win another competitive contract to upgrade the Nyamenga hydropower plant in the neighbouring nation of Burundi, from an existing capacity of 1.4 MW to 2.8 MW with two additional turbine-generator sets. This plant augmentation was successfully completed and commissioned in June 2009.
